SUBJECT: Conclusion of Students’ Registration Exercise for 2019/2020 Session
You will recall that the University was shut down in March 23, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the University reopened on January 18, 2021 for postgraduate students while undergraduate students will resume academic activities on Monday, January 25, 2021. Matriculation Ceremony for freshmen will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2021.
Consequent upon the above, Faculty Officers are to ensure that they complete registration exercise for first year students to enable them participate in the first semester examinations for 2019/2020 session scheduled to commence from Monday, February 22, 2021.
Continuing students who are yet to conclude their registration process should be advised to do so within this grace period.
Please ensure minimal contact with students and employ ICT tools in the performance of your duties in order to stay safe.

SUBJECT: Reopening of Portal for Registration of First Semester Courses for 2019/2020 Academic Session
This is to inform all undergraduate students that portal will be opened on concessionary grounds to enable those who have not registered their first semester courses for 2019/2020 academic session to do so. The portal will be open from Monday, January 25, 2021 to Monday, February 1, 2021 when course registration will end.
Students are to note that those who fail to register their courses within this window will not be allowed to take first semester examinations which will commence from Monday, February 22, 2021.
All Deans, Directors and Heads of academic Department are to bring this notice to the attention of all returning students in their various Faculties, Institutes, Departments and Centres.

2020/2021 SCREENING EXERCISE FOR ADMISSION
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka hereby invites candidates who had the UNN as their first choice in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 and above for screening exercise.
- Online Registration
- Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial bank.
- The online registration commenced on Wednesday August 5, 2020 and ends on Friday, January15, 2021. UTME screening exercise will commence on Monday, January18, 2021 and end on Tuesday, January26, 2021.
- Process Flow for Post-UTME Registration
- Log on to the University Website: www.unn.edu.ng
- Click on UNN portal (Top right corner of the Website)
- Click Prospective Students
- Select Online Application Form for 2020/2021 Admission Screening Exercise
- Enter JAMB Registration Number
- Generate Invoice
- Proceed to bank for Payment or pay using your ATM Card
- Return to Portal
- Re-enter JAMB Registration Number
- Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields
- Enter O/Level Subjects and Grades (also provide your Centre and Examination Number)
- Re-enter your grades correctly
- Upload Certificates (Ensure that their sizes are not above 100KB)
- Birth Certificate
- Local Government Identification
- Testimonial
- First School Leaving Certificate
- JAMB Result Slip
- O/Level 1
- O/Level 2 (for double sitting candidates) and,
- Click the NEXT button
- Review Summary Page and check that all details entered are correct
- Check the CONFIRMATION BOX below
- Click SUBMIT
- Print Acknowledgement Slip
- All candidates are required to bring the following to the screening exercise:
- A copy of Online Acknowledgement Slip
- 2020 JAMB Result Slip
- Please note the following:
- No GSM handsets, calculators or any extraneous materials should be brought into the screening halls
